Why DGE3 is backing FOTOhub: the AI creative platform redefining generative workflows

Today we're excited to publicly announce what we've been working on behind the scenes for the past several months: DGE3 has led a $6.1M Seed round for FOTOhub, contributing $6.1M to back one of the most compelling AI-native platforms we've encountered in the European market. This is a company that embodies everything we look for at DGE3 - visionary founders, a product that users love, genuine technical depth, and a market opportunity measured in the tens of billions.

What FOTOhub is building

FOTOhub is an AI-powered creative platform that integrates multiple generative models - for images, video, audio, and text - into a single, unified workflow. Instead of jumping between Midjourney for images, RunwayML for video, ElevenLabs for audio, and ChatGPT for text, creators use FOTOhub as a single pane of glass for their entire generative AI stack.

That description makes it sound simple. It is not. The engineering challenge of orchestrating multiple foundation models, managing context across modalities, maintaining consistent style and quality, and doing it all with sub-second latency is immense. The FOTOhub team has solved it with an elegance that we frankly did not expect from a Seed-stage company.

The platform supports advanced features including multi-model image generation with style transfer, AI video composition with frame-level control, audio synthesis and voice cloning for content creators, text generation optimized for marketing, social media, and long-form content, and cross-modal workflows where outputs from one model feed seamlessly into another. The result is not just a tool but a creative operating system.

The numbers that convinced us

When we first met the FOTOhub team in late 2025, the metrics were already striking. By the time we closed the round in February 2026, they were exceptional:

  • 460,000+ registered users - organic growth with minimal marketing spend. The product is genuinely viral among creative communities.
  • Month-over-month growth exceeding 30% - sustained over six consecutive months, driven by word of mouth and social sharing of generated content.
  • Net revenue retention above 140% - users who stay are spending more over time as they discover new workflows and capabilities.
  • Daily active usage averaging 47 minutes per session - this is engagement territory typically reserved for social media platforms, not SaaS tools.

These aren't vanity metrics. They represent genuine product-market fit - the kind of organic pull that we rarely see at this stage.

The founders: Arkadziusz Wiktorowicz and Mateusz Ulewicz

We've written before about what strong founding teams look like in 2026. Arkadiusz and Mateusz are a textbook example. Based in Bydgoszcz, Poland, they combine deep technical expertise in machine learning infrastructure with an intuitive understanding of what creators actually need.

Arkadiusz brings years of experience in ML systems architecture, having built and scaled inference pipelines that handle millions of requests. Mateusz's background in product design and user experience ensures that FOTOhub's powerful capabilities are accessible to creators who aren't engineers. Together, they've built a team of 14 engineers and designers who are shipping at a pace that would be impressive for a company three times their size.

What impressed us most was their clarity of vision. They don't see FOTOhub as an AI image generator. They see it as the creative infrastructure layer - the platform where professional-grade AI content creation happens at scale. Every product decision, from the multi-model architecture to the collaborative workspace features, flows from that vision.

Why this matters: the creative AI market

The generative AI market for creative content is projected to reach $110B by 2030. But the current landscape is fragmented - dozens of single-purpose tools, each requiring separate subscriptions, separate learning curves, and separate workflows. Creators are spending more time managing tools than creating content.

FOTOhub's insight is that the winning platform won't be the one with the best single model. It will be the one that orchestrates the best models into a seamless workflow. This is the same insight that made Adobe the dominant creative platform of the last two decades - not by building the best single tool, but by creating an integrated suite where the whole is dramatically greater than the sum of its parts.

The difference is that FOTOhub is building this from scratch with AI-native architecture, not retrofitting AI onto 30-year-old codebases. The opportunity to build the 'Adobe of the AI era' is real, and FOTOhub is further along that path than any other company we've evaluated.

How we'll support FOTOhub

DGE3's investment goes beyond capital. We're providing FOTOhub with:

  • Go-to-market support across MENA and Asia - our Abu Dhabi office is actively connecting FOTOhub with enterprise customers and distribution partners in the Gulf region, where demand for AI-powered content creation tools is exploding.
  • Regulatory and compliance guidance - as AI content regulation evolves in the EU (AI Act) and globally, DGE3's regulatory network helps FOTOhub stay ahead of compliance requirements.
  • Talent acquisition support - scaling from 14 to 40+ team members requires access to top-tier ML engineering talent. Our network across CEE provides direct introductions to the engineers FOTOhub needs.
  • Strategic introductions - connecting FOTOhub with potential enterprise customers, technology partners, and future investors who can accelerate their trajectory.
FOTOhub isn't just building another AI tool. They're building the creative infrastructure of the next decade - and we're proud to be their partner in that mission.

What's next

The Seed round will fuel FOTOhub's expansion across three fronts: scaling the engineering team to accelerate product development, launching enterprise-tier offerings for agencies, media companies, and brands, and expanding into new markets with a particular focus on MENA and Southeast Asia.

We believe FOTOhub represents the kind of generational opportunity that DGE3 was built to back - a brilliant founding team, a product with proven market pull, and a market opportunity that is both enormous and early enough that the defining company hasn't yet been crowned. We're betting that FOTOhub will be that company.
